In a world where there are two kingdoms, that of the sky and that of the earth, a land dweller professes his desire to know someone in the sky.

Notes:

My own au, based on an original work that tbh, I’ll never finish or post anywhere. But I love the world building a lot, and I enjoy putting Xiao and aether in it <3

There are two main kingdoms:
-The Sky Kingdom; Celestia. Here, eternity persists, and things never change. Here, lives are never lost, and births are carefully monitored. Here, Xiao was born, and would remain alive for as long as he remains in Celestia.
-The Earth Kingdom; Teyvat. Here, mortals prevail when even the land itself is against them. Here, lives are frail yet vibrant, as many make the most of their short lifespans. Here, Aether was born, and will eventually die, but perhaps mortality is not such a bad thing.

(There is a third kingdom, but that’s not relevant to this story~)
