SQUEEZE-WAX ("Squeeze-Wax"): n. [English slang] 1. One who seals. 2. One who binds oneself to another. 3. A surety. Most likely derived from the act of sealing official documents with wax.

 

Aemond and Luke are married and manage the day-to-day (and night-to-night) trials and tribulations of a political arrangement with no regard to their age, experience, worldview and existing relationships. Long-suffering alpha!Aemond sets aside any reservations about seeing to his natural duty as alpha and pawn and takes young and naive Lucerys as his bride. But it's of little challenge to him as master of intellect and arms, as rider of the largest dragon in the world—keeping Luke happy is work as simple as Luke himself.

And Luke is indeed happy so long as Aemond has no intent to kill him. He soon realizes it's actually a very good thing to have his uncle by his side—Aemond, who indulges him in every aspect of life under the sun and moon, whose love and patience knows no bounds and whose generosity is as vast as the sea.

Or: an omegaverse au where Luke and Aemond are married and stuff, things etc. happen.

Updated A/N (2024-05-12): Give me Green was previously deleted due to some really weird like, live harassment in my inbox, which was the first time I've ever experienced that so forgive me because yeah. Because of that my general feelings toward continuing this work is complicated because I can't think of this universe without associating it with a really awful few days mental health wise.

Thanks to everyone who has been supportive. I think it's hard to truly explain the hard feelings (and I'm a pretty articulate person) unless you yourself have ever been in that position, i.e., to create and to face rejection. It's honestly been a very unique and personal thing (speaking for myself) where my view/attitude toward the creation and sharing process itself has been altered a bit. I had fun sharing what I had with others, but I'm also devastated I can't continue to have fun with you guys the same way.

So I just want to leave this off with a please continue to support the other amazing works out there, and to please try to understand your level of ability to recognize strong feelings in yourself, and to act accordingly in a non-hurtful and productive way. If there is ever anything you do not understand storywise and you think I can otherwise help you in understanding, please also just ask. I'm really good at explaining things and I will always love having a good faith discussion in regard to the writing and ideas process. (If you're ever curious about it though, there should still be some comments posted under Of Freshness and No Fantasy between middle_c/targenjoyer, a good good friend of mine, and myself that have some of my thoughts regarding the dynamics in the story).
