Summary
Twenty-two years ago in Lawrence, Kansas, Mary Winchester did the sensible thing and went to get a baseball bat to beat off a home invader. Meanwhile, her husband, John, went into the nursery and got burned on the ceiling for his trouble.
Mary raised her boys instead of John. Now, Dean is the respectable second-grade teacher in Lebanon, Kansas and Sam is at one of the best law schools in the country. But when the demon that killed their father makes a second appearance, the brothers decide to hit the road.
