Notes for these stories:

Steve came back in 1948, married Peggy in 1949. He took her name, went back to art school to become an artist who goes by the pseudonym, James Wilson.

Their first child, Sarah Marie Carter is born in 1951. Their second, Michael Anthony Carter is born in 1953.

This storyline follows the theory that Steve went back in time and was always meant to do so. He did not start a different timeline. He was always Peggy's husband and the father of her children.
