Summary
The firstborn child of Rhaenyra Targaryen was not a boy... but a girl. Named after Rhaenys and Visenya Targaryen, wives of Aegon the Conqueror, she grows up in Kings Landing beside the strength of her family and the oncoming possibility of the Iron Throne. Much like her close family, she finds solace in the secrets that Old Valyria has to offer and forges down a path that she believes could save her family's life, believing that lessons can be found in the strength and truths of their people's past. Along the way, she provides friendship and perhaps more to Aemond "One-Eye" Targaryen. Her action influences his and eventually crafts the fabric of the Dance itself.

Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen has been crowned the first Targaryen Queen of Westeros. Whilst the family's inner civil war has been calmed, outside forces from surrounding Lords have begun to cause conflicts within the Kingdom. The Lords and the people's faith in the Targaryen family are slowly lessened and soon, war seems inevitable. Yet the firstborn daughter of Rhaenyra and Daemon, Rhaenya Targaryen, is placed within its epicentre and seeks to alter its tide. At her side, Aemond Targaryen strives to have his own place in the history texts. Whilst both are trying to stake their claim as the future rulers of Westeros, past secrets seek to end the Targaryen dynasty and power. The hidden agendas of the Citadel have been entwined with the lords who have felt slighted by both Rhaenya and Aemond’s actions. Rhaenya Targaryen has to decide if war is necessary to save her family and her mother’s queendom, or can she use the knowledge of the past to avoid bloodshed.

Summary
The third book in the First Daughter Series.
The book begins only a week following the end of the second book in the work. The first dragon has passed in the civil war of the kingdoms across Westeros. Rhaenyra Targaryen has done her best to establish the possibilty for negotiation and proclaim herself as the first ruling Queen of the Targaryen line. Yet under the Hightower's and Baratheon's following, factions seek to override her and her daughter, Rhaenya Targaryen's path to the throne. The questionability of the Dragon House has never been more at stake and the war officially begins. The maesters of Oldtown have revealed themselves to have plotted not only control of the Targaryens, but have withheld a secret long lost in the Targaryen bloodline.
