  Summary

  “Do you remember the things we did the past three years? The things we went through?” If there was an emotion Karma had rarely, if ever, felt, it would be regret. He had never felt remorse for his actions toward other people. They deserved to get their heads beaten in and slammed onto the concrete. But Nagisa? That probably caused him some confusion and unspoken pain.

  Nagisa noticed a shift in tone at that last statement. If his eyes weren’t deceiving him, it almost looked like there was a hint of regret in Karma’s eyes. Karma? Experiencing regret? Regret over what?
