Summary
He’s completely awake, but surely this is a dream. Because it feels like a dream with the pleasant buzz in his head and the godly sight of Bakugou half on top of him; and in dreams, you don’t need to think about the little details, like the chain of events that led up to this moment.
Bakugou's face is close to his own- and damn, this close Hitoshi is having difficulty keeping the word pretty out of his inner monologue. It’s like just the thought of the word could summon Bakugou out of his deep sleep. And it must be deep, judging from the drool.
Eh, what the hell. Hitoshi is probably hours away from his actual demise when Bakugou wakes up. Bakugou is extremely pretty; not his usual type, but an Adonis nevertheless. Well, as he remembers more and more of the previous night, maybe he’s more Hitoshi’s type than he isn’t. There’s a rather noticeable bite mark on the juncture of Bakugou’s neck; blood specks dot the indented skin. He remembers that one. He’d have to be mad to forget the reaction that one caused. The memories from the night before drift back to him, startling in their clarity and implications.
And yeah, Hitoshi should start a countdown of the hours he has left to live on this planet.

Might want to read "Unexpected Fireworks" first, but this can be read as a stand-alone if you use your imagination.
