Summary
The first in a series detailing the reports of Rob Phillips, an Irwin who bases his reporting style on that of his pre-Rising namesake. Rob interviews one of the survivors of the Rising, still living in the isolated home where he kept his family safe, and then joins him on a zombie hunt. This is set in Texas, roughly concurrent with the events of Feed.

Summary
