Summary
Not knowing what to give Eivor for their anniversary, Randvi turns to Sigurd for advice. His suggestion seems silly at first, but the journey that follows is anything but foolish. Over hill and under dell, down river-roads and through stormy seas, it seems there's no length Randvi wouldn't go to, to give Eivor the one thing she really needs: a legacy worthy of her name and an heir worthy of her blood.
