“That won’t be possible though. You technically can’t become a star—“
“It will be! Just you wait and see! I’ll become the brightest star to ever be on the sewers!” He was rudely cut off by Mikey, with a grin so wide he could feel his own mouth twitch into a small smile.
And he remembers, remembers the promise he’d made that cold, winter night.
