Hayase Nagatoro snapped one day. Overwhelmed by her intense and all consuming feelings toward her Senpai, while at once stunted by both of their awkwardness in each other's presence, Nagatoro committed a mistake that cost them everything. Naoto, her Senpai, graduated and quickly moved away, leaving her behind. Years later, by mere chance, they reunite. Nagatoro, still deeply in love with the man she once knew and full of regret over her own wrongdoings, wishes to make up for it all and rekindle the love they once had.

But redemption is almost never that simple. Wounds have to be mended, pains have to be comforted and lives left in ruin must be rebuild. And when the man your heart yearns for is coveted by others as well, how far are you willing to go to prove yourself worthy? How much suffering would you endure to undo all the damage you have caused?

So far we got the main story within 'Away we go'. This is where most of the juicy stuff will be taking place. It'll follow Nagatoro and her attempts at rebuilding the relationship she once had with her Senpai, while also covering any other major events within their lives.

Supplementing this, for now, will be 'The Artist's Way', a collection of shorter chapters, focused on the slice of life aspect of those involved in Naoto's life. The goal of this is to expand and flesh out the world of this 'canon', as well as the supporting cast we will establish along the way. I am making a conscious effort of having none of Naoto's love interests 'directly' appear within this story. They will still be mentioned, their relationship and stories will still be touched upon, but any direct interaction between Naoto and any of them will be taking place within 'Away we go'.

Also, since I adore a lot of romance stories, and I always imagine what characters from different works would be like while interacting with each other, there will be a lot of 'soft' cross-overs. It will be nothing groundbreaking, but for example, Naoto's best friend, as well as bandmate, in this story, is Tadano from 'Komi can't communicate'. The university Naoto and Tadano attend also just so happens to be the studying grounds for a couple of students of Yamaku High, including so far, Hisao and Rin.
