Ness's words trail off as Kaiser's lips turn into a ghost of a smile against his neck. Kaiser called him by his first name and it sounds like a pardon. Kaiser is smiling and it seems like Eden. Kaiser touches his chest and whispers in his ear and it feels like love.
"Oh, God-!"
"Are you addressing me or taking the Lord's name in vain? Come on, Alexis," Kaiser purrs, with the slightest hint of raspiness as the only sign of how this is affecting him. "There's only one right choice and we both know it isn't the second."
