There were a great number of things (though, different ones this time) that Carmichael had expected to happen when The Handler had arrived and ordered Five to capture him, stating that she wanted to exact her revenge upon him herself, and wanted him intact for it.
There were many, many things Carmichael had expected to happen when he awoke to find himself tied to a table and saw instruments that he could only assume were instruments of torture on a table next to him... and was left alone for what felt like forever until The Handler finally decided to grace him with her presence.
And there were many horrible things that Carmichael had expected to happen when The Handler had begun to take her revenge against him for stealing her position or power and her status in The Commission...
Yes, there were many things Carmichael had expected from this entire ordeal...
Becoming aroused from being at The Handler's mercy was not one of them.
