Summary
The thing about recounting a story one had lived through is that it never always felt quite right to retell as opposed to reliving it. But there were stories that one could only handle living through that one time, and yet, the adventure grew restless at the edge of his tongue, longing wholly to be spoken against the nature of a silent knight. How could one fully express what it was like, even if he were to be someone who spoke? Surely there was no real way. But the roaring storm had to be released somehow, lest it tore Link apart from the inside.
So in the absence of a voice, he picked up one of Zelda’s discarded pieces of charcoal, and he began to write.
