Summary
“Why?” Now it was Reya who hesitated. “Why didn’t you just take the Halo from me? You’ve had me here at your mercy why didn’t you simply take it?” Reya didn’t answer and Ava smiled.
“You can’t can you? I have to give it to you. Just like you need me to choose to fight for you, I need to choose to give you the Halo. That’s it, isn’t it? The Halo is mine. That’s why the Tarasks won’t attack me here. Well, then I will make this simple for you. I’m not going to give you the Halo and I’m not going to fight your stupid Holy War for you.” She didn’t notice the high pitched ring or see the light behind her as the Halo began to glow. “I choose to go home!” The Halo let out a burst of power around her and Ava felt a shift in the air.
“Very well, Halo Bearer,” said Reya coolly, back to that same ethereal voice that first greeted Ava when she passed through the portal. “I will initiate the portal back using the Halo. Think of home and close your eyes.”

Summary
With Reya's defeat, Earth is starting to calm down. The FBC is now broken and scattered, the Vatican is working to restore its broken influence on the world and the women of the now defunct OCS are learning to live without the church.
Through it all, Ava and Beatrice are living very happily together—happily together—together. Certainly not unhappily, right?
But Reya's actions before she was killed have had repercussions that spread far beyond Earth, and like everything else involving angels and demons, these problems can't seem to avoid the Warrior Nuns.
This story is a direct sequel to Semantics of Free Will, my Season 3 story. You will likely get lost if you have not read that one even though I am doing my best to make this story stand alone.

Summary
The Finale of my Free Will series. I am putting a background from the previous two stories in the Notes for anyone who would like to catch up.
Ava and Beatrice are missing. Thought to have been sent to their doom in Hell, it has been discovered that they have escaped. But no one, including them, has any idea where they are.
Back on Earth, all Hell is about to break loose, literally. It is all the flailing sister warriors can do to hold humanity together until the Warrior Nuns return—if they even can.
