This arc is set roughly 100 years after the end of current canon (the "Owls" trilogy) and is one of the lead-ins to the (currently incomplete) story "A Hyperbola of Reality".

The other lead-in is the "A Day in the Life" arc, which starts 30 years after the events of "Serendipity."
