The day after everyone but Regulus forgot James' birthday. A story, in which I touch on how much James needs support even as the sunshine of his social circle.
"His conflicted emotions extended beyond that. Lately he had been feeling sadder than usual, he was worried about the future. It was becoming increasingly difficult to focus on his studies, and his grades had started to suffer as a result. He felt like a mess, but he kept pushing forward, not letting anyone in."
