Prequel to "Journey to the West: Chronicle": The tale of this Monkey King's rise to infamy in hell to heaven and his life before all the power and ego. Born from a stone egg on Flower-Fruit Mountain in the island chain of Alolai, Stone Monkey seeks a family to join. He is met by another monkey, the Six-Eared Macaque who takes him to their family where he joins. The two quickly form a brotherly bond with Six-Ears being the elder. Neither of them expect what is to become of themselves or even fathom what's to come. Nor how their bond will eventually wither away due to bitterness, then hatred.

Summary
After losing his two attendants, Tripataka, continues his journey westward alone. Much as the fear of death and being eaten by demons persists, he continues on for his Emperor and people.
