Summary

Set after Briana storms off and decides to blow off The Order, leaving behind sad puppy eyed Nick "did my girlfriend just break up with me" and confused Selwyn "emotionally constipated" Kane. While walking across campus trying to gather her thoughts, Bree's interrupted by our favorite grumpy Kingsmage who can't stay away.

A ringing silence filled the empty spaces between the two naked bodies standing face to face under the shower. Neither really knows what to make of this painful prickly thing growing, festering between them. They continue to meet up, scratching that itch, quelling their bottomless appetites for one another’s bodies. Circling around one another, frozen in space, afraid to take one wrong step and in the process unable to move one step forward or one step back.
I'm curious to explore non-linear storytelling & Sally Rooney's unique writing style. A creative depiction of insufferably dense, emotionally illiterate characters wrapped up in their own insecurities causing painful miscommunication and misunderstanding.
