This is basically my response to anyone who wants my opinion on Gao's character development and how I would have staged it instead if I was in charge of Bushiroad. Basically I was about 6/10s satisfied but still not enough so here's this. Canon compliant, some canon divergence at parts, a lot more shippy and angsty because that's always nice.
