“You suck at this game,” Theo teases, lightly.
Liam isn’t going to admit he’s going easy on Theo. Doesn’t know why he’s admit that, when he doesn’t even know why he’s doing it. But Theo looks . . . well, he gets this look when he wins. And Liam doesn’t like it. That wouldn’t make any sense. But he . . . kept losing on purpose, anyway.
“You suck,” Liam retorts as Theo starts up another game.
“I just beat you,” Theo points out.
“You still suck,” Liam says, shrugging.
Theo looks at him. There’s a wicked glint in his eyes. “Yeah, I do,” he says, winking.

Summary
He loves Liam.
He knows he loves Liam. Has known it since that first time in the hospital when Liam saved his life from the Ghost Riders. Maybe didn’t know exactly what it was, then, when he’d looked at Liam in complete and total shock. Liam had saved his life, right after explicitly telling him he wouldn’t. It meant something to Theo. More than Liam would ever know. No one had ever done something like that for him before. He didn’t know what to do with it. So he paid it back by saving Liam’s life, once and then again until it became almost a habit.
And loving Liam was easy.
