Prapai has entertained all kinds of guests over the years.

Then suddenly he’s got Sky’s weight over his thighs. Prapai automatically puts his hands out on his waist to steady him when Sky shifts to straddle his legs.
“Listen to me.” Okay well, he doesn’t know how Sky expects that to happen when he’s got a lapful of the love of his life. But he’ll do his best. “Are you listening?” Sky says.
Prapai nods once. Totally listening.
“P’Pai,” Sky prompts. “Do you want kids?”
Oh.
Now he’s listening.
Sky wants to have a family and Prapai is all too happy to give it to him. Namtan's still suffering.

Summary
Sky has no idea what he’s supposed to be looking at. It’s all a bunch of black and white whorls morphing into more shapeless blobs.
It takes a couple of minutes of agonizing silence before Kaew finds anything, and they’re alerted by the sound she makes. “We’ve got a heartbeat,” she announces.
Wonderful. Sky’s is currently in his throat. Prapai squeezes his hand and the pressure of that is what he focuses on to ground himself to this moment. “Oh,” he says softly.
Pregnancy is a journey and Sky is going through it.
