Summary
Narrator: Carstairs and The Thieves were one of the biggest bands in the 70s. Their songs played on every radio station. They sold out every night on the one tour they did as a band. Nobody knows why they broke up. And there’s too many rumors to count. James went crazy and broke all the instruments, Christopher fucked up the bus somehow, Cordelia threw a tantrum over that last show. Alastair hated everyone too much. As far as we know, no members of the band have spoken to each other since they broke up, besides the two pairs of siblings. So, what happened on December 4, 1979? What happened at that last concert (one of the best shows they ever did). James Herondale and Cordelia Carstairs did their epic duet, ‘Show You The World’. It was their best performance of the song to date. After that night, the Thieves split. So did the Carstairs. They all left music.
Narrator: For the very first time, I’m interviewing the members of the band. James and Lucie Herondale, Matthew Fairchild, Thomas Lightwood, Christopher Lightwood, and the Carstairs siblings. The truth is about to come out.
