The Rules of this Universe (as decreed by I, InsaneAndHappyAboutIt)
• Wesker was never bad. He is an orphan and he has a sister (who is a bitch). He does have a degree in virology though he hasn’t put it to as much use as he would like. He’s the captain of S.T.A.R.S. and eventually takes over Iron’s position as chief.
• Wesker and Chris are in a loving, sometimes nauseatingly fluffy relationship!
• Leon and Clare are in a relationship and they have a little girl called Olivia (Oli).
• Jill and Carlos are a thing
• Umbrella is still a piece of shit and they’re corrupt, fraudulent, have illegal narcotic dealings etc. No zombies though, just really shitty power-hungry rich assholes.
• The B.S.A.A. is still there and it is an antibioterrorist group but B.O.W.s don't exist. Eventually Chris and Wesker both get recruited and decide to join. Wesker focuses more on research for various viral cures and Chris ends up getting promoted to captain so he's the boss now... Yeah, right...
• Jake is Wesker’s illegitimate son after he had a fling with his mother. He didn’t abandon anyone on purpose, he’d simply never known he was a father but eventually Jake tracks him down as an adult.
• Wesker and Chris adopt a grey cat formally called Whiskers.
• Chris eventually becomes captain of S.T.A.R.S. when Wesker takes over Iron’s position.
• Chris has an irrational fear of zombies.
• There’s no real timeline to the way I plan to write the stories so you’ll just have to arrange them in your head yourself…
