Summary
Eventually, Kurama's light weight against Kuwabara's shoulder turns heavier. He's fallen asleep.
Well, you don't move if you've got a sleeping cat on your lap, so the same logic probably applies to sleeping foxes. Not to mention Kurama has a tendency to attack people if he gets woken up suddenly.
And all of that's just excuses because Kuwabara would do basically anything to keep Kurama right there, his cheek pressed against Kuwabara's shoulder and his light breath brushing Kuwabara's arm.
Hoo boy. He's got some thinking to do. But maybe... maybe not right now.

Summary
This time, Kurama sits still, without even blinking, and Kuwabara knows he needs to put up or shut up. "I think—I think I wanna fuck Hiei. Or something." The words are too crude, but they're all he's got. The feelings he has for Hiei are not delicate, like his love for Yukina, or sophisticated, like the way he feels about Kurama. No, his attraction to Hiei reminds him of nothing so much as the low throb of a punch to the gut, the spreading soreness of a bruise, the lingering tenderness of a half-healed break.
He never would have said any of those feelings were pleasant before. But they have their draw.
"Or something?" Kurama says, his voice grave, thankfully. Kuwabara had expected at least a little teasing; god knows he deserves it.
"I don't know." The words are almost a whine, and Kurama takes pity on him and pulls Kuwabara into his arms.
"Then you and Hiei are well-matched. He never knows what he feels either. He might say so, and he might be improving at it, but it's still a struggle for him. You've seen that."

Summary
Yusuke didn't fall for the bait, though his expression shifted. It did not gentle, but the harsh focus became true interest instead of a challenge. "And what if I did? I've been stuck with you my entire life. Maybe I want to know if I'll finally get a break." He sat back on his thighs, still glaring down at Kuwabara, but Kuwabara didn't take it personally.
That grin tugged at his lips. He’d never thought it was any different than the way he smiled at anyone else, but it was, wasn’t it? Yukina got goopy, lovey-dovey Kuwabara. Kurama got the polite young man you could bring home to your mother. Hiei got the brawler. And Yusuke… Yusuke got whatever happened when you combined all those things. "Nah, I got your number. You're gonna miss me, Yusuke."
Surprise flicked across his face. Kuwabara realized, a beat too late, that he had called Yusuke by his first name. Not just that. He heard the tone of his voice, intimate as the doofy edge to his smile.
