Day after day, Harry wakes in the bright afternoons with the same fears (Voldemort is coming. Voldemort is near. Voldemort will not let him go.) and the same anxieties (He has forgotten to do something. He has done something wrong. He is going to get in trouble.) He is just as captive here as he was at the Dursleys; the same cage but with access to food and more amenities. As the time slips through Harry's fingers, he begins to wonder if this is it, if this is all he will have for the rest of his life--these endless afternoons that bleed into golden sunsets, these two meals with Voldemort, and a night of new and twisted nightmares that do not seem to ever end.
Is this all that Voldemort has planned for him, now that Harry is his captive?
