Summary
It was time for one of the annual tournaments his father held. They were the highlight of his year when Prince Adrien was small, but now he found the gaudy displays of power and wealth by the nobles to be disgusting and shameless. He had grown less and less fond of the festivities as the years went by, just as his relationship with his father, the king, had grown more and more strained as the years passed.
