“Can I…can I see, please?” Dib whispered, words tumbling from his lips before he could think to stop them. “For purely scientific pursuits of course.”

“Care to enlighten me as to the purpose of this activity?”
“Well of course! It is my sacred duty to consult you as the best moirail ever, and you-“ Nepeta paused to tap a gentle finger to the tip of Equius’ nose, “-have been wound up tighter than a freshly procured ball of yarn”.
Equius gingerly grasped the leash in hand, cocking a confused eyebrow towards the olive blooded troll. “And this is supposed to alleviate this how?”
“It’s gonna help you relax and let go of all that control you seem to need!” She said in a singsong voice and Equius bristled at the poignant observation. “I think this will be good fur you, to let go and relax and enjoy being a little less…..prickly”.
“Prickly?”
