Summary
It’s been more than a week.
Most of the marker hasn’t gone away completely; his hands are pretty clear, but his arms, chest, stomach, and legs still bear faded black like a whispered secret.
He has two more art classes in that time, and in both, Henry stares at him. Richard knows he's been careful to wear long sleeves and pants, Henry couldn't possibly know how his touch has lingered, but Henry stares at him like he does, like he can see right through his clothes, like Richard is the one naked and posing in the middle of the room instead of the okay-looking chick with nice tits.

He doesn’t approach Richard again. He watches him fidget and glance his way through one class, then two, then three, and by the fourth, Richard can’t keep his eyes off of him.
At the end of the fourth class since their last rendezvous, Richard waits until everyone else leaves. He lights a cigarette just outside, waiting, and offers Henry one, too.
He's been trying to quit since the accident, but Richard makes it easy to indulge in things he shouldn't.

They’d exchanged numbers when Henry had finally sighed in bed and said he should head home. Richard sent an initial text to put his number in Henry’s phone, but the messages have been sparse in the couple days since then.
Then, Richard wakes up to a text from four in the morning.
