Summary
“Well, here’s your problem. It’s not narcotics at all. Its mystics.” Miles laid on the dining table, magic mandalas floating around him. Doctor Strange had just finished examining the gash on Miles’ leg.
“Magic? That’s good right? Since you know magic.”
“No. Mystics. Different thing. And I know sorcery, not general magic.”
“Aren’t they synonyms?”
“They operate on completely different laws.”
“So is that a no?”
Doctor Strange took a deep breath, “No”.
“‘No’ like he’s wrong or ‘no’ like you’re agreeing with him?”
“Aren’t you a master of the mystic arts?”
“Do you want the cure or not?”
“Yes” chorused around the room.
“The curse was introduced to Spider-Man via a potion. It’s likely the claws or talons that struck him was dipped in it. The cuts on his leg are swimming with it. Since he’s not dead yet, death is most likely not the intended result.”
Everyone sighed.
“However,” tension flooded back into the room, “he’s not waking up anytime soon. Not without a cure. Which I don’t have, because mystic-wizardry is not something taught or researched at Kamar-Taj."OR
