Summary
When The Dark Lady killed Iris Potter's parents, her Godfather, Sirius Black, showed up and took her in. He changed her name to Cassiopeia Narcissa Black and Blood Adopted her. When Cassie was five, Peter Pettigrew (who had been missing and believed dead) showed up and tried to kill her. Sirius managed to lure him away from the house to keep Cassie safe while he confronted him. Pettigrew yelled for everyone to hear that Sirius had betrayed the Potters and he couldn't let Sirius get away with it any longer. Then, Pettigrew blew up the street, cut his finger off and ran away in his rat form. Pettigrew's declaration proved what most people already thought was the truth and Sirius was sent to Azkaban. Dumbledore took Cassie to the Dursleys where they treated her horribly (only further pushing Cassie to agree with typical Pureblood values on Blood Purity). How will the Dursleys' treatment of her, her remembering everything Sirius taught her, her remembering the Wizarding World's existence and her remembering her life before the Dursleys, change her choices as she starts her first year at Hogwarts?
