Summary
Part one of four of my series The Elements. Spock is hearing things, Bones can't say no, and they play a hunch. How successful that is on closer inspection remains to be seen, though. This will eventually by K/S, but it's pretty slow-building so there isn't overly much romance in here (except the one even I didn't see coming *cough*). Set after Generations – no, not kidding.

Sequel to Air, but understandable without it. Our friends are sent to a research station for their evaluations after a long absence from Starfleet. While they're there, people go missing on the planet below, while the station loses contact with the world outside.
