Summary
“How is the follow up for the Goodall case going?” Jon asks, venturing into the bullpen of the office with a couple files in his arms, “I have yet to receive any documents for it.”
Sasha hums and stops typing, “We’re actually… having some trouble with it.”
“Oh?”
“Well, I did my interview with him and he told us to find the book he talked about in his statement at the library a couple blocks from his house but when we went and asked about it, we were told that we couldn’t access the book, so we’re trying to figure out how to get it.”
...
Sasha and Tim are having a hard time getting a book they need for a follow up on a statement, because it's in a restricted section that they just can't access. Jon, however, happens to be able to help them--because of course the nerd would have access to a restricted section in an academic library. But that's not the only thing the two assistants learn about their boss because who is this Martin guy helping them?

Summary
“I wanted to ask you about your current living situation. I know that things might not be the best in the Archives but I do want to make sure that you are… finding it up to code. I can’t have one of my archivists experiencing issues.”
“How sentimental.” Tim mutters from the still open doorway.
But Martin either doesn’t hear him or ignores him and rubs the back of his neck, “It’s alright. I mean, I’m still stressed out about the… things…”
“The things?” Jon pushes, raising a critical eyebrow.
...
Martin speaks both Polish and English and has a tendency to forget words, usually in English, which leads to some interesting situations.

Summary
“Do you think he’d mind me wearing my pride shirt to work tomorrow?” Sasha asks Tim over the phone, holding said shirt up in front of her. It’s an atrocious thing that Tim got her when she came out to him, it’s got a big 404 on it and under is ‘attraction not found’ in the aroace colours.
“I mean, it’s the first day of pride month, he has to.” Tim hums in response, then swears and there’s some sort of gun sound from a vintage video game that comes through the call, “If he has a problem with it, we could just report it as workplace discrimination or something. But me, I’m going all out. You know that bi flag button up I got last year.”
“I mean… I don’t think Elias would do much about it.” Sasha cringes, throwing the shirt on her bed, “He seems particularly happy about Jon being the head archivist. I’m pretty sure that Jon could murder someone and keep his job."
...
Tim and Sasha are nervous about dressing up for pride month because Jon, to them, seems like the old homophobic boss that grumbles about 'kids and their sexualities and blue hair.' Turns out, they were wrong.

Summary
Sasha is on the phone and typing at her laptop, asking questions. Tim is sorting through stacks of papers, though it doesn’t seem like he’s actually doing anything more than just shuffling papers around to look busy.
Tim looks up at him and tilts his head, “Leaving already? It’s a normal time of night.”
Jon sighs at the archivist’s statement--and the fact that Sasha got a small smile on her face at his words, “Yes, I do have an event that I need to get ready for. I’d rather not be late.”
“Then where are you going? What is this ‘event’ you have?”
“If you must know,” The shorter rubs at his temple with his free hand, “I have a date. That, once again, I’d rather not be late to, so if you would excuse me.”
“You have a date!?” Tim shouts, standing up abruptly. His chair teeters behind him but doesn’t clatter to the ground, “Jonathan Sims has a date!?”
...
Tim and Sasha learn that Jon has a dating life and they want to figure out just who managed to charm him. Turns out it's Martin, who Jon has been married to for a year.
