“Collector,” Caleb starts, wary.
“Hm?” comes the Collector’s voice, carrying faint traces of sleep.
“I need to talk to you about Philip.”
“Okay.”
“You know how Philip has been…sick and out of sorts recently?” Caleb asks.
The Collector lifts his head up, red eyed gaze staring straight into his soul.
“You mean the sludge?”
Caleb’s heart skips a beat. He coughs with the force of it, producing dry ugly sounding hacks that nearly send the Collector sliding off his chest.
“The what?”
