Tsukasa gave him another look. “Yes, you can!! For example, I hate English, but you don’t see this future star slacking off on studying it, do you??” He poked Rui with his index finger, his long, painted nail jabbing him.
Unexpectedly, Rui let out a giggle.
This giggle wasn’t like his usual giggles. It was more out-of-control, like he couldn’t keep it in. It was more bubbly than his usual laugh.
Tsukasa froze.
And, so did Rui.

“Can’t you just stay here for a bit,” he muttered, pretending to be tired as he buried his face into Tsukasa’s vest. “Our break is going to be over soon, and I want to sleep…” He reached out with a hand, making sure that Tsukasa couldn’t see.
Tsukasa, of course, wasn’t a stupid person. He could tell that something was up with Rui; he simply knew the younger one very well. He squinted his eyes at him. “...What are you plotting…?” he asked, using an accusatory tone as he said so.
Before he could continue his interrogation, he felt someone poke his side.
Tsukasa turned to give Rui an unimpressed look.
“...Really, Rui…?”

After Tsukasa successfully manages to tickle him during a study session, Rui exacts his revenge on the future star. (It doesn't go very well.)

Then, the blonde froze, practically turning into a stone statue.
