This series starts in 2013. Jimin and Jungkook are trainees, hoping to become members of the same idol group. Spoiler: The two will make it, together with five other young boys. This is the story of how the two boys from Busan became part of an idol group, made their debut, became the best of friends, started to feel more, overcame fears as well as other obstacles. The endgame is Kookmin/Jikook.

The timeline is canon as much as it can be; some dialogue is from real translations, some is made up. Some events are real, and some are put in for storyline.

The plan is that the series will have ten stories, one for each year. It will end in the year 2023.
It might touch on some serious subjects from time to time, like eating disorders, mental health issues, death threats, jealousy, and the pandemic.

* The timeline is as canonical as it can be when we don’t know everything. Some dialogue is from actual interviews, videos, or other media. (I have sources for 99% of it.) Some are made up. Some events happened, but some are made up.

* They will not be lovers in this part of the series.

* The names of other characters like girlfriends, friends, siblings, etc. are changed due to my not wanting to use real non-celebrities in a fictional story. So even if I know their real names, I’ve changed them to something I’ve taken from popular names the year they were born (if I know the year).

* The boys are still angsty teens or early 20s in the beginning, and their dialogue reflects that. Some of the things they say and do will not be as nice as they could be. But most are based on actual events and things they’ve said. I’m not painting anyone in a bad light on purpose. They will grow into the beautiful humans they are now. But they were still young in 2014.

* This story will include other idols, managers, parents, etc. None are tagged for a reason.

* There is some swearing, and there will most probably be mature content later on in this series. (I can mark it out if that's a problem for anyone, so please let me know.)

I tried to keep the ages international.
I tried to use the titles correctly, but I’m not Korean, so I might have made mistakes. (I’m less focused on using correct titles from 2014 and forward, due to my not knowing enough to do so correctly.)
I tried to write so the names or nicknames they use for each other reflect the era they are in.
