Tony DiNozzo is my favorite NCIS character. When I first read the specifics for the No Dialogue challenge at NFA, my first thought was that it was perfect to write Gibbs since the man doesn't talk unless he has to. While mulling over ideas for a Gibbs story, my thoughts kept drifting to Tony, psychoanalyzing how and why Gibbs was treating him the way he was. I had a dream one morning and when I woke up, I sat down and wrote 'Push.' The ideas didn't stop there and next thing I knew, two more stories were written. Then got the idea for the fourth, which is the last story, which I finished yesterday. This is what I hope is a satisfying, if perhaps bittersweet, send-off for Tony, especially if I don't like what the show writers do.

Notes:

I know the chances of him ever seeing this are slim to nil, but I'd like to offer a special thank you to Michael Weatherly. He brought an amazing, compelling, and wonderful character to life, and it was primarily Tony DiNozzo who made me want to open my word processor program and write stories again. Writing fanfiction has given me the confidence to start writing original fiction as well, and for that I owe him a debt I can't ever pay back.

Thank you, Michael, and God bless you!
