Summary
Anthony has not stopped moving. Not since his father passed, not since his mother’s grief kept her absent from their lives for years too long, not for a moment since. It’s quite clear to him, that should he stop at any point, he would crumble under the weight of his own grief; he persists, therefore, as he must. Like an object in motion, he must stay in motion. That is until....
“But I am leaving for India.”
“And it is not far enough. Do you think that there is a corner of this earth that you could travel to far away enough to free me from this torment?
When desperation clings to you like second skin, it is hard to shake it.

Summary
“So it appears we are at an impasse.”
“I suppose we are, my lord.”
“I told you, I hate that nickname.”
“I know. It’s why I love it.”
“So, will you tell your Mother, then? That I absolutely want no part of this royal affair of a wedding, least of all to you.”
“You know, I never admit defeat, Sharma. I don’t think I’ll start with you.”
Kate and Anthony are, somehow, a perfect couple. They battle their wits all too often, to the exasperation and utter delight of their families. Despite their relationship having taken many forms, enemies, to hesitant lovers, and now fiancees, the relationship has undoubtedly run its course. There is no spark; there is no fire. There's nothing left but simple niceties and platitudes all the while a monstrous wedding is being planned by their mothers. Kate wants out. She had never pictured marriage in her many, many 5 and 10 year plans, and she certainly does not want this one. Anthony, for once, agrees with her.
The catch? Neither one of them will admit it.
