He looks relieved, his shoulders loosen, just barely. It wouldn't be noticeable to anyone else but me. I grew up wanting to know everything about him. I know he doesn't love me as much as he loves his job, but I love him more than anything. No care, all responsibility is his mantra, but I know he cares. He's emotionally stunted, that's all.
This is the first in a series, though I'm currently not sure how many there will be.
