Summary
“Do you remember, a while ago, when we talked about having kids and you said you always wanted to have one?”
“Yeah, I do,” that gave Sirius a hint to know where the conversation was going, his heart skipped a beat with the thought of it.
Remus took a deep breath before speaking, “Do you think we’re ready for that?"

Summary
“Moony, love you’re here!” Sirius said, peeking his head out of the kitchen door frame and immediately running to him down the hallways when he saw him.
Sirius wrapped his arms around his neck and stood on his tiptoes to kiss him while Remus wrapped his arm around his husband’s waist. “Hi,” a kiss. “Hi,” another one. “I missed you.” He said, leaving peppermint kisses all over his face. “How did it go with Pomfrey? Did she give you something for the sickness?”
“I’m not sick,” Remus said carefully, trying to divert the conversation from where it was going and keep on with his very meticulous plan.
“Oh!” A wide smile built across his face. “What was it then?” Sirius asked as he slowly unwrapped himself from Remus to look at him properly.

Summary
"Right there and then, Sirius was grateful. Grateful for his life, his family, his son, and his husband but he couldn't shake the feeling of something being missing in all this. He always pictured a family with two kids; no more, no less. Sirius often dreamt about Izar being a big brother, taking care of a little sibling, and creating that kind of bond he had with Regulus. [...] So yeah, he wanted another kid but he wasn't sure he and Remus were on the same page.

Summary
"Listen to me, Iz," Remus answered, taking their fist and placing it on his lap, "if there is pain, nurse it. Don't be brutal with it. We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster, that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty. But to make yourself feel nothing so as not to feel anything? What a waste. Don't push it away, don't ignore it, let it out. Scream, cry, whatever, but just know that keeping it can turn it into something much uglier, much stronger. As your Pa' said, don't let it define who you are and if you ever need someone to remind you who you are, to remind you of all the good things, there are people who won't hesitate to do so because they love you, kid."
