Summary
He needed to see Knives. He felt trapped without him, helpless and devoid of purpose. It had been too long. Knives should have known better—that without a task to take to, Legato couldn’t bare the fruits of his labors to hand feed him. He needed him. He needed to be tied to him with a goal, with a way to spread that adoration he felt for him across the sands.
“My love is eternal…Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude…” Legato mumbled to himself, delirious in his devotion as he stood, dripping outside of the room meant for Knives. The shadows had captured him, his body shrouded in them. They sat in his crevices, along his pubic bone, under his hollow, wide eyes. He made a puddle outside of his door, breathing, trying to place his own body.
