“I’m marrying her, Bucky,” he says quietly, and well, if that ain’t the end of it.
John turns back to the sky. There’s nothing either of them can do, in the end. Best just to forget it. He takes the last swig and chucks the flask back inside.

Ohhhhh this series is so wonderful. The first and second part so painful for Bucky and then they get their happy ending!! Reference: part 1 Bucky tells Buck he loves him during the march; part 2 Buck kisses Bucky then night the war ends in Europe; part 3 Buck goes to Bucky a year after the war.
