“And you would trust me with this ruse?” Chan asked, eyes unyielding as he held Minho’s gaze. “You would allow me to court you fully and truly?”
“I don’t see why not,” Minho smiled, daringly holding Chan’s gaze. “This is only for the sake of restoring our reputation and as my dearest friend you should be able to keep your hands to yourself, right?”
“Of course,” Chan said, smiling down at Minho. “I have excellent self control.”
Or, in an attempt to restore both of their ruined reputations, Minho proposes the idea to Chan that they should fake court, but the arrangement is far from pure; Minho plans on making Chan fall in love with him and he will do everything to make the alpha his.

Summary
“You say that you once held me in high regard,” Chan said, his throat feeling tight as he spoke. “Do you no longer consider me a friend?”
Minho looked at him startled, as if he hadn’t expected Chan to pick out that part of his words and focus on. His lips parted in surprise and Chan wished he didn’t have as much restraint as he had so he could steal Minho away and make him his, but he could never do something like that.
His self-control was too excellent.
Or, shame has permeated Chan’s existence and all of it has to do with how much he longs for his childhood friend. Minho deserves only the best, however Chan can’t give him anything but the worst.
