Summary
There's time, after Starkiller Base is destroyed and the rest of the universe unalterably changed, for both sides to re-gather. Kylo Ren was missing, according to their sources, but it was too good to figure that was permanent. Poe supposes that's an even trade - he'll take it because Finn is still breathing , too. Still recovering, if the doctors can be trusted. Still sunk deep in his own mind.
In which Finn is still easy to talk to, even when he doesn't talk back. A series of visits by a series of friends. A slowly developing set of relationships. In which I explore a whole variety of characters. Spoilers for the end of the movie, so read AFTER seeing.

Summary
Poe pours the X-Wing into a long upward incline, hands on the yoke and guiding, eyes on the HUD and alert for any strange vibrations coming through his contact with the ship . Keeping the nose pitched up, he opens the ailerons out in a leisurely way. Left up, right down, and Poe pilots Black One into a slow roll as he listens for signs of stress on the fusial thrust engines. He feels through his grip and seat for any sensation of rattle.
For a few long seconds he flies inverted, leaving the belly of his ship bare to the sky. Everything's different in atmosphere, he thinks as the wind howls past.A sequel to Second Circle, set int he Pilot Superstition 'verse. Rey, Finn, and Poe are given an assignment to recover General Calrissian from behind a Hutt blockade, and nothing quite goes according to plan...

Summary
Poe sees them coming as he's pulling on his flight harness and lifts his arm at a greater angle than is really suave so that he can cover his enthusiasm for them with something casual. They have that collective look in their eyes that means two things, in Poe's experience:
1. They aren't just coming to wish him luck on his mission.
2. Poe's about to need the extra support of the ship's bulkhead so that he can keep from losing his balance when they sweep him off his feet.Rey and Finn promise to be waiting for Poe when he gets back from his recon flight, and despite a couple of unexpected hiccups... they are. Takes place in the Pilot Superstition 'verse, but you can easily read this without reading the others.

Summary
Finn's never seen anything frozen in Carbonite, but it should - should! - keep Poe stable until they can get him to a real medical facility. If Finn understands correctly - and he thinks he does - it will either stabilize Poe or kill him. So as he trots alongside the gurney as they wheel it to someplace so improbable as the cargo packing bay, he holds tightly to Poe's hand and understands exactly what it means to believe in the Force.
A short Whump! & Hurt/Comfort piece for tropes week and because working on only one thing was driving me crazy. Also a character study for Finn. Technically in the Pilot!Superstition universe but I haven't decided exactly where it will go in the final timeline.
