In the Florian Triangle, time loses its meaning.
Constantly overcast skies make day and night inseparable, and what once meant everything to Brook—a musician who so faithfully followed the beats to his songs’ rhythms—feels obsolete in the face of his fruit-given powers. What do minutes, hours, and days matter when there is no such thing as hunger, thirst, or exhaustion?
Brook would almost forget he is still human were it not for the dreams he gets. Not nightmares, but dreams of painful nostalgia—joyful dreams that make him remember upon waking up, wondering what the Mizuta twins, or Yorki, or Laboon would do if they saw him now.
Brook is lost in one such daze when he hears soft crying from the ship’s main cabin.

Summary
Heavy clouds covered the sky above, all except for a sliver of moonlight that shone upon a giant several times Law’s size. His cream-colored hair flowed in constant upward motion, bouncy curls rising and falling like the flames of a campfire. His skin was a warm beige, with a dark scar creeping across his chest in the shape of an X, and a white and gold gladiator’s skirt wrapped around his waist.
He was no god – Law kept careful tabs on everyone in the pantheon – yet he managed to look ethereal.
The giant laughed boisterously, startling a flock of birds to fly away from their tree. “I was looking for you!”
“And I for you.”
In which the solitary god Law meets the bright giant Luffy in a silent, starlit forest. An Artemis and Orion AU written in mid-2022 for the StrawHeart Zine.
