Henry had mentioned, once, in passing, that he’d like to be made to lose control; something about being kept so tightly wound for so long made him ache with the desire to just let go. He could never find an outlet for the feeling, not until Alex came barreling into his life and, later, his bedroom. They’d long since established that they wanted to try everything- everything- with each other, so Henry had felt little embarrassment when he’d come forward with his request. He just hadn’t expected Alex to run with it as far as he had.

Summary
Henry didn’t notice what Alex was up to until they were nearing the end of their meal. It took Alex shifting in his seat with a grimace for it to finally click:
“Are you alright?” He raised an eyebrow and glanced at Alex’s empty glass; it was far from his first water of the night, and it was only then that Henry started doing the math in his head. “Shall we stay for dessert?”
“Hmm, I don’t think so,” Alex told him as he squirmed again. “Unless you want me to make a scene.”
