Summary
Riku tries to avoid meeting the full force of Sion's intense gaze as he looks up at him with cheeks bunched up by his smile, but turns out to be a mistake as well, because he catches a glimpse of Yushi suddenly a lot closer than he was before.
He blinks over at him, mouth opening slightly before he quickly hides his surprise. This is not the time to be shocked, this is not the time to waver, and yet suddenly everything is overwhelming and the impact of what he’s asked for is really sinking in.
