“I should go find my friends,” he said after a moment of silence, giving Jonas another small smile. Then, just as the boy moved to leave, he paused, glancing back at Jonas with a curious expression. “What’s your name?” he asked.
“Jonas,” he replied quickly. “Jonas Vingegaard.”
The boy smiled again, a small, polite smile, at the same time his eyes shifted to an incredibly light shade of blue. “Nice to meet you, Jonas. I’m Tadej.” With that, he stepped out of the compartment, the door sliding shut behind him.
