Dinosaurs, almost to a species, are endangered. Even those that remain are vulnerable. And for Claire Dearing and Owen Grady, running a sanctuary for dinosaurs is a struggle, and balancing the books is the hardest part of all. From television cameras to rescues, somehow, they muddle through.
And then someone sends them footage of the unthinkable. And they cannot let it go.

Unfortunately, it's not really possible to have a quiet day when you run a sanctuary for dinosaurs. If it isn't abandoned pets or visiting family members, it's businessmen with a strange sense of humour or phone calls from the SPCA. Sometimes Claire Dearing wonders how she manages to keep track of all of this lunacy.
Or maybe someone up there just particularly hates her this weekend.
