But I knew you. Sometimes I’d–you’re gonna laugh at me– We’d be walking and I’d wait to hear your footsteps and it was kind of, freaky I guess, when I didn’t hear them.”
“I don’t have legs, sir.”
“Yeah, exactly,” Booster nods, “It was like–I was waiting to have some kind of human connection after everything that happened. You were close, and god knows I needed you– but I was also really lonely. I wonder if Kamandi feels the same.”
